TATA ITS ORIGINS AND MEANING



From the history-linguist, the region is historically known as "Asif N Welt" meaning in Amazigh Language ("Valley of Nuba"). 
The word Welt is derived from the verb Yowal from which the source Ouwlu ,The feminine word that has been summed up to become  Tawlot.

 
The valley was still called by the tribes surrounding it by the name Asif n Welt or Welt.When the Arabs came to the area and began to document the civil and commercial transactions, the word Welt was written by the Amazigh language with the word Woltata which is forbidden from exchange, and as the days passed, the first two letters were deleted and Tata remained.There are those who attribute this word to an Amazigh verb, which means A'tata in the sense of triguity in the matter or to another verb, A'tata meaning rested or Tada in the language of the Mediterranean atlas on the alliance but the word Weltata In the historical books that referred to some events in the small Atlas of the Atlas (see a journey during the third part of Muhammad al-Mukhtar al-Sousi), a reference to Wadi Draa Valley indicates that Tata is a distorted word on this historical origin, Foreign Encyclopedias It is noted that "Tata" as a name given to a certain place is found in some African countries that are parallel to Hera.
