" We care about this because it is our heritage ".

Before going into this topic, we would like to point out that the wedding in Tata is carried out through a series of stages that we will divide in this subject according to the days and customs practiced every day.

First day

On this day the occasion of the wedding begins in both houses,
"the husband's house and the wife's house"In relation to the husband's family house
his family calls the women of the village and empties a bag of barley and adds a little almond and dates and put inside it a silver ring and the women present looking for this ring, And whoever finds him puts it in her hand until the day of the husband's intervention. In this day, the woman who found the ring to cook dinner this night, and at the end of the day is chosen one of the women with one marriage to grind that barley and blended three times and warns of moving it and intended not to blow the wind to spoil the days of the wedding.
In the house of the wife's parents
the ceremony of the so-called "Afsai" is held, meaning that the mother of the wife sends the women close to her to break the wife's hair and requires that the girls leave the bride's place of residence, and only women who are married.

The second day

On this day there is a ritual of "As Nuaman" and the intention is that the mother of the husband sends the same women who made "Afsai" again to sprinkle the water on the wife's hair and at that moment the wife starts wearing the man's shoes " Belgha in Amazigh Language " as it is damaged in a white wrapper and the girls start singing and dancing.
What is left of this water sprinkles on the girls present in order to accelerate their marriage and another ritual is called "Azgar" is a quantity of wheat and barley and a sheep and the shoes of a man and shoes woman and oil and sugar sent by the husband's family to the wife's wife as a token of love.

The third day

In this day begins the ritual "afai" where an old woman puts a white bandage "uncles" on her head and recognizes at home for three days and offers her to meet meals in the day and all the necessary
In this day, the grand feast is held, where all the members of the region are called women and men, as well as some people outside the region. A certain period of celebration is also devoted to singing or poetry, or "Darst"

The fourth day

On this day, "Tangifet"This name means the atmosphere accompanying the departure of the wife and the home of her family of women and songs and the wife wears on this day a white wrapper and a man's shoes and a turban and put on her head a rose. Before leaving the house to her family, it is impossible to remove her without providing a sum of money by a relative of the husband to the wife's sister, accompanied by two women who may be her
aunt and aunt, as is beaten by her younger brother and carried by a woman on her back if the distance is close and on horse if it is far after arrival The husband is on the roof accompanied by a guide who pours the milk and pours the fruit and almonds on the wife and accompanying procession.

The fifth day

In the early morning, the husband goes to the market to buy some of the necessities that he provides to the mother of the wife with kissing her head. In return, the mother gives him almonds and chicken.
Among these are the items that the husband invented: a clay pot placed in the place of the couple's entree and at the end of the day there is a "talk" ritual, decorated with all kinds of ornaments and wearing white and blue, And comb her hair with a silver halter and divide according to length to chanting "Isawatn"

The wife stays in the place where she and the husband entered the last day of the wedding.

The sixth and last day

On this day the wife comes out of her room wearing the same dress heading to the home of her family accompanied by women close to chanting songsAnd distributed the wife at the time almonds on the children without entering the house of her family and only provide couscous on the back of the hand in front of the door to test the ability to bear the burdens of married life, taking with it the vessel that put the meal to her home and called this day, "Ass Nigran" The ceremony of the wedding until the next week in the next day is the day of placing Henna On the sixth day of the same week for the first time the wife enters the house of her family and called "Tarzeft" and stay for a short time and followed by her relatives.

In summary it should be noted that despite the persistence of these customs, we do not deny that they are constantly subjected to an exotic ritual that tries to remove the inherited traditional character
Through this presentation, we are eager to rehabilitate him and leave the task of preserving for future generations.
