The region of Tata is located in the area located in the middle of the "Bani" series south of the small Atlas.

Tata Circle, which includes Tata, Tacmat and Isafen. And Aka Circle, which includes Aqa, Ait, Abli and Tamanart. And the circle of the mouth of Zikid and include the mouth of Zikid, Alukum, Fajaya and Tesent.

 Nature :

 

The topography of the region consists of mountains, reefs, plains and oases that are located on the most important valleys, which extend from the southern part of the Upper Middle Atlas to the North and Wadi Draa to the south.

And its vegetation is mostly from the steppe, bushes and semi-desert trees such as Sidra, al-Talh in the forest, palm trees and some fruit trees adapted to the region's climate in the oases.

And the climate is almost desert and continental dry, very hot summer and cold to cold in the winter,Rainfall averages about 100 mm per year, summer sandstorms are blowing in the summer, and strong winds during fall, winter and spring fall in the north.
